I think the name is Symphonic Drama, (Drama Sinfónico) because this is not a Symphony Write the Horn in Treble Clef or Bass Clef, the Alto is not used for Horns, I know it does work well for Horn passages, but is jut not common for Horn players to read in that clef. The glissandos in Flute and Oboe, I think you should use the "port" sign, and specify is you want diatonic or chromatic portamentos, in your recording they sound diatonic... very nice the contrabassoon solo segment, I like very much the contrabasoon sounds, in all its range not just in the super low. Have low E as the lowest timpani note, use the middle C instead the lowest one, is very weak and not all timpani can play that note. Two things, I don't know who in the world gave me a negative comment for my reply to Vicent here - but, I checked his userspace and that was the cause - so I gave him more space. If you found that negative, please send me a message and we can deal with it. Silva, i'll look into it and see what's causing your 404 error. I think your trying to upload a work with multiple movements, if that's the case. For the time being upload your scores to box.net and post it. We're on top of this issue - just be patient.

If the composition is based on a text I'll use the title or a phrase from the text. When writing instrumental pieces I have to name them before I get too far in. I tend to write music that is originally about something extra-musical and the concept shapes my initial ideas as well as the title. If I were going to simply write a "Symphony No. 1" I'd have a very hard time figuring out what to write, but that's just me.
