    I have refrained from commenting directly on individual pieces until I have a chance to review all the entries after the deadline but I wanted to extend my respect and congratulations to all of you. This is really what this is about, inspiring the composition of truly outstanding pieces in the spirit of friendly competition. I look forward to hearing the all the other entries!     I like almost all contemporary music. But I mean, I like almost all music in general; in cases where I find myself bored or indifferent, I still do trust that the artist had something important to say that simply wasn't for my ears at the moment. If you are finding yourself disliking the vast majority of music you listen to, you might need a better attitude, a more open mind.
