I really like what you did with this. Each variation is unique and effective, and each got me thinking about the theme in a different way. I suppose that's the goal of a theme and variations.
I particularly like the last three variations. IV is a beautiful waltz, and I like the chromaticism that you use in the middle of it. After mostly straightforward tonality in the variations before it, it is a little more radical and might give a little preparation for the final variation. The slow variation is nice as a conservative and pretty resting period before the buildup into VI, which really excited me. From that point on, the piece has a great energy until the very end.
