  1. My first attempt at a symphony, as well as my first post on this site. Hello everyone! It's only about 21 minutes -- I'm definitely not yet at the skill level required to write an hour-long piece -- but it does qualify as a four-movement symphony. This took me about 5 months to write from beginning to end. The last movement borrows no less than 4 different themes, all from different works. Three of these are somewhat obscure national anthems; the other I think you'll have no trouble recognizing.

  2. Sketch No. 44 was originally a piano piece, but after I wrote it, I decided to write it out into an orchestra piece on the same day. This is very loosely based on the story of Moses. I'm not a huge fan about how I wrote the ending, but I think it works enough to serve the point of the piece. Split into two basic sections, the Largo and the March, I was hoping to have two distinct, relatively well set-up ideas for it. Would love to hear what you all think!
