  1. I think this is imitative counterpoint. But if you ask yourself if that is a fugue or not, you probably get anything but a fugue.
  2. It's very loose counterpoint. With a distinct lack of episodes or layering lines past the beginning, it's more just an imitative piece than any set polyphonic style.
  3. Thank you very very much!!!! I cannot stop laughing at myself that I didn't thought of that, playing together. I will definitely make 4 hands version. Thank you again for the comments 😄

Hey! Definitely nailing the epic vibe. There are a couple things that bother me though. Your brass writing isn't very realistic. That ostinato you have there is much better suited to strings or synth, and it doesn't leave any room for the players to really breath! As a result, it makes it sound "fake". Also there seems to be something going on in the low end that is masking and deadening the impact of your drums ☺️

It's good, although the countermelody that comes in at 1:15 kind of clashes. Otherwise it's good.

Glad to help :) It's fine, it should be repetitive, that's how epic music works. It kind of gives the listener... "the pulse"
  7. Like, in what style? Bach? No.
