There's a lot I like about how you handle this. The spicy SF at ms 10 followed by the PP was just the right level of kick to prepare your climax. But, you lost me at ms. 34. I actually think the scale at ms. 34 in the L.H. is fine, but it's the fact that there's nothing but scales all the way through ms 39... it felt like a missed opportunity, to me. Overall, I really like the piece, though. Thanks for sharing! 😄

The harmonies you use are really beautiful, and avoid what could be considered kind of cliche for this kind of piece. It feels like there's a real depth to this piece, and you manage to develop it quite well in a short period of time. Like Luis said, it's got that "introspective" quality to it that could really capture the imagination of an audience in a live performance. Thanks for sharing, I enjoyed listening to this 😄

First of all, I'm seriously jealous of whatever is creating that heavenly piano sound. Is it a VST of some sort? And either you're performing it, or you've tweaked it so much I can't tell it's a MIDI playback. Awesome production values. I really like your writing here. It works as a moody sort of nocturne. I actually wish that all of the pieces you've written were together here as a complete set, because even though this writing is really good, I don't think it's a complete piece on its own. It reminds me of one of Chopin's Preludes. A few of Chopin's Preludes work well on their own, like the "Raindrop" prelude, but a lot of them are too tiny to play one of them by itself as its own standalone piece, like the very first piece of the set. After all, a postlude is considered a sort of "epilogue" (I had to look it up, LOL) I'd love to see how this piece fits in context with its complete set. Really good job! Thanks for sharing.
