  1. You expressed my feelings better than I could. edit: I'm actually intrigued by this post, so let me extend this a bit further. What even is this project? How can 7 albums be "enough", and how would you go even further from that? When do you expect this project to be finished? Do you expect one composer to be able to do all this work, or do you want to hire various people to do that? If you have the money to hire an orchestra and soloists to play all that, why not also hire a conductor? Is it a soundtrack? Or is it just film music-inspired? Why all of that specific instructions about the final project and no details about the actual gig? What are your intentions when it comes to retailing it? Is it related to any other project or is it simply a bunch of albums for people to listen to? Why L.A.? I have many other questions, which I'll probably add here if I feel like it.

  2. @Jean Szulc Thank you, on this chorus I added some percussion, removed the lead strings, and gave the harmony to French horns. On the second half of it, it has a nice phaser effect and is somewhat clearer for the piano part anyways. I'm currently working on the rest of the songs percussion/fixing velocities to make it realistic, then all that's left is the mixing.

  3. Sounds preety cool. I want to see how you use that in a finished work. The only thing I feel sounds a bit off is the reverb/ambience. It's quite strong and I feel it makes the whole thing sound muddy and lacking in contour. Besides that, it's a very cool project.

  4. Hey! I also don't have much knowledge when it comes to synths, however I feel like there's a big dinamic diference between the attack and the sustain of the notes. That might make it hard to use, as it will sound too loud and too low at the same time. Perhaps trying to close this gap might make for a more "usable" instrument. On the other hand, you can combine it with another synth sound that has a weak attack and a more consistent sustain, so that you can have a more balanced sound throughout. I hope it was of any help, Best Wishes, Jean.
