  2. The beginning to this is perfect. The interwoven flutes and strings sound wonderful.

  4. I would call this piece a Passacaglia rather than a Canon...technically the infamous Canon in D is also passacaglia. Not a wind player so can't get THAT technical, but some of those figures in the horn parts (around measure 29) seem difficult, plus the range is a little too high for horn.

  5. Hello! Here is my submission for the Secret Santa composing event organized by @Jean Szulc and @Left Unexplained. It's titled "Left Unspoken," it's scored for piano trio, and it was inspired by my Secret Santa topic: the word mamihlapinatapei, from @TheCluelessClariney. In their own words: My piece comes in fairly short at just under 4:00. It is structured as a simple A-B-A format, with one more contemporary-sounding section sandwiched between two more CPE-sounding sections. I hope the theme comes across in the interplay between the violin and cello, particularly at the end. Made with MuseScore 3. As always, all criticisms and suggestions are welcome. Thanks for listening. 🙂

  6. Hi everyone! This is going to be my first post on this site, and I would love to hear what people think of this piece. I wrote it between mid-March to mid-April, and it has formed into one of my favorite pieces. It is only one movement, which is why the official title is not going to be "Sonata." Yes, it is in sonata form, but I do not want to write any extra movements.Score.pdf On a side note, I genuinely have no idea how to engrave the score to look nicer. Any tips would be appreciated!
