  1. This is an orchestral scherzo in ABA form, inspired by the hunt. Let me know what you think!

  2. Even historically, classical-style music was never targeted for the "masses". There were a relatively few wealthy elites who supported the Mozarts and Beethovens of their time. The one big exception would have been church music.

  3. This statement is weird because it implies that society does actually desire contemporary classical music. I don't know what leads you to assume this.

  4. Hi, here a piece for woodwinds and orchestra. Section A is a kind of pastoral and section B is a dramatic one with the chasing syncopated accompaniment on the clarinet and bassoon. Does it feels too much contrast beetwen A section in DM and B section in Gm? Does it feels like a Waltz? It wasn't my intention to right a Waltz, my intention was to find a name for that and I decided 5min ago it has some kind of Waltz Ryhtm, but I'm terrible in finding tittle to my works 🙂. I usually write what comes to my mind, not thinking much in particular forms, and when it's finished I think about the tittle... One more thing: would you better write dotted half to 50bpm or quater note to 150? Any comments are welcome!

  5. Really cool variations. I thought it was really clever to use given Ab-G dissonance as a E7b9 chord. I also liked the chromatic bassline in Var. 3 and how you harmonized over it. Lastly I thought it was pretty cool that you ended Var. 3 on an E7, which prepares for A minor key of Var. 4. I was curious how you came up with the below resolution (Var. 2, m. 11). In my head I see it as a Abmin7b5 without the B, but I can't figure out how it resolves to the C5 chord. It works nicely, so I was wondering if you could explain how it works? Also, I wondered if you might explain how you came up with the 16th note runs in the right hand in Var. 5, m. 33-37. It's super cool but I have no idea how you came up with it. Thanks for sharing!
