This could get some really cool playing time in orchestras. I have to be critical about this: that conga/bongo part isn't one would actually play in a live setting. If you were to notate it as improv, that could really work. Oh, the string bass part isn't "cuban" or afro-cuban. Now here's the cool thing, That bass line is American, it's straight up swing (which I do love). What would be authentic you had guaguanco, rumba, and/or songo rhythms in it.
