Instead of an opera (or maybe it will be an opera, I don't know yet), I am writing a musical. The main character is a teenage boy who has autism spectrum disorder ("wrong planet syndrome") and has musical savantism. He has always been gifted but never at socializing and making friends. Then he finds out he actually is an alien from another planet, and gets taken to his home world where he finally fits in. He learns there that he was sent to earth to save it from an impending collapse. He has to choose between living comfortably and happily in a place he fits in or saving a world that never loved him back. Antagonist: An increasingly authoritarian leader who is hellbent on dividing the nation and remaining in power. 🤔 This scene is when he's being lifted into the heavens and taken to his true home. It has happened in the past, some times. Now is even harder to put all the pieces in order because of the double judgment (popular and judges). I like this challenges, and I entered in other editions as participant or as a judge. But this time I don't feel any attraction to the approach. I'm afraid the results will be a sort of variations on a theme (which is supposed not to do). I don't share the concept of variation (or deviation from the theme) proposed here. On the other hand, being judge requires some experience in a lot of styles.

Hello people, I will introduce myself. I am a piano player from the Netherlands, currently 18 years old. I have always improvised music, and never written any music. I also have almost no knowledge of music theory, so go easy on me 😉 . What I am uploading today is some themes I improvised today, but I have modified them slightly and improvised some middle parts because the themes are not in the same keys. I will take any feedback in high regard. P.S I have not included any sheet music because I can’t read nor write sheet music.
