  1. Hi everyone! I've been thinking about writing some stuff for fantasy inspired settings (like WoW, Skyrim etc.). I've come up with these ideas and there were quite a few of them, and thus I decided to put them all together in one suite. Any feedback is appreciated!

  2. Double fugue in gminor scored for 2x oboe, 2x bassoon in g minor. I think i will rearrange the fugue for two pianos... Written in the mid baroque style, so dont exptect those bach episodes 😉 Please telle me what you think. SimenN

  3. my first sing song! lyrics: something's in the air tonight, might take off this cruel disguise, for a moment. I never saw your eyes in the moonlight, I never wanted somethin so bad so bad so bad so bad always wondered what it's like, to love you you touched my face and I was high, above you heads in the clouds cuz you dont put me down, looking at the stars as we lie on the ground, I didn't know heaven reached so low so low so low low Chorus: Didn't know my life sucked til I met you, If you only know just what I went through, I know you aren't my savior, But won't you save me, tonight Walking round the block, nowhere to go but up, Too drunk to stand but I can't stand to leave you alone, lone, lone, You're a work of art, the mona lisa if its hot, baby, And I would die if I saw you painted by some one else Turpentine on the party vibes, time for all the boys and girls to say goodnight, will you still love me tomorrow or will you just be another dream of mine chorus

  4. @Bělásek Thanks for the feedback! Yes, you are right, it is 3 trumpets that play the melody in unison. Your comment also made me realize that it migh be good to include the score as well, so here it comes attached to this message!

  5. Very good, strong piece, harmony progression remainds me Korngold a bit occasionally. I personally would use wider harmony in some places, for example somewhere around 2:35. And maybe around 1:45, where trumpets (?) play the main melody and strings have these additional countermelodies, I would suggest, that the main countermelody alternates through the strings (for example it is played once by violins, then violas then cellos etc.) and maybe varies a bit more, because the unisono trumpets are still (or maybe it is only one trumptet, sorry, I can't hear it properly).

  6. Hopefully it is fixed by now (look at the score attached! 🙂). NOTE: MuseScore's latest update has apparently fixed my audio exporting problems! Hurray!

  7. I was already noted this issue by someone else and I can only say, you're totally right! However I can't edit the video itself, since this is YouTube, but I will certainly edit the original score for future use. Countless thank for your advice! 🙂

  8. Hello, I like the piece altogether, theme is very good indeed. But I would suggest to slightly rewrite the harpsichord part, because at some points it is basically unplayable, or nearly unplayable. Which means, that the harpsichordist would be able to "play the notes" but not to preserve the polyphonic structure, an example of this is right the first measure, where You have to hardly stretch out hand, if You want to reach the very first notes. Then You should reach the next notes (left hand - the second quaver, right hand - the third semiquaver) but still stay on the first notes (according to the score) and that is unplayable (unless You are an octopus). You could theoretically "let go" the first notes and go for the next, but that would make "a hole" in the part, which would break the polyphonic structure. And this very problem repeats several times in the piece, so as I wrote, my humble suggestion is to slightly rewrite these problematic parts.

  9. This is designed to be a madrigal march/processional style song for people to slowly march to; it's semi-grand entrance music basically. It's also designed to have sections repeated, since it's for an event that can vary in the amount of time needed to be filled by music, so there are a number of repeated parts. I'd appreciate any suggestions or recommended edits! This actually is a remade version of a song titled "Orchestra Piece," but I changed it so much that it wasn't the same song anymore to the point where it's not really the same song anymore.

  10. Nice and moody piece. I love the polyphonic texture
