  1. This is why one should not post sheet music or MIDI publicly. It is not necessary to critique music, but also opens you up to plagiarism big time. That is clearly what has happened here. What's shocking is the sheer boldness of it all by posting it on the same forum he stole it from. This is like trying to sell a car back to the same lot you boosted it from and thinking no one will notice. Seriously, ban this
  2. Funny thing is that I've been here since 2007 or so and I've almost never seen anything like this. People aren't usually THAT cynical and/or stupid.
  3. And he plagiarized my piece as I posted above! It's not just that it is very Beethovenian, it's literally my piano draft with a few harmonic and melodic changes(mostly harmonic by the looks of it). Not that I mind so much that it is my piano draft, because I've already expanded my Weather Music Suite out to a full orchestra instead of the piano solo it started as, but not getting credited for it is making me a bit upset.
  4. Thanks! I'll admit there's not a lot of development in most places, I intended it to be a rather light piece. All the weight is in the finale, where there's every transformation imaginable: themes are fragmented, inverted diminuted... you name it. I actually use the tresillo quite a lot, it's some sort of borderline "tic" in my music. In this case I used it mostly in the first movement, even though the finale has some allusions to it. Thank you for listening 🙂
