When my music isn't in any particular form I use Italian tempo words such as, andante, allegro but you can also use Italian words that indicate mood such as grazioso, dolce etc. This website below lists the words. The falling chromatic bass line is really good.

Is your mentor a trained composer? If so, why do you want me to teach you? It's not that serious. You lack experience and knowledge, that's all.
