  1. Hi all! Here is the Allemande from my Suite WIP, imagined as a "chorale" fantasia on the theme "Littleroot Town" from Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald. Stay tuned for the repeats - there's quite a bit of elaborate ornamentation! The playback has the theme being played on a coupled harpsichord whilst the rest is played on a single-manual, so the theme can be heard clearly. This would not be possible in a live performance, unless one plans to use a piano instead. All comments and critique welcomed!

  2. Here's another piece I wrote a while back, from '08. Explored diminished chords a bunch, I was really into Stravinsky at the time (probably). I received a lot of feedback with this one, and I was really happy with the community being engaged with my music to better my composing chops. Any comments are welcome! Score can be found here, in the first post:

  3. hello everyone, this is my new piece combined classical and modern together, piano music is the leading role, it mixed with concrete music as well, hope you like it! the video: 【微分音钢琴】作品5之6 无标题_哔哩哔哩_bilibili

  4. Sounds epic, but I feel a bit of "disconnection" around 0:25 and also ten seconds later (but less). Is this a work in progress? Why did you limit yourself to one minute, just out of curiosity? In my humble opinion there's not much you can satisfyingly develop in a single minute for orchestra, and with such instrument power why would you do that? Regarding of how the orchestration was itself I am no expert nor really experienced enough to give you advice. I am reading "The study of Orchestration" by S. Adler so perhaps I'll have more constructive feedback in a year or so, lol. The melody flows perhaps good enough, but I don't see where does it want to go, it seems to be going but without knowing where. which is not necessarily a bad thing, just pointing out my feel. Kind regards!
