  1. Alright, after months of working, learning, and trying not to procrastinate too much, I'm freaking done with this project. This project took wayy longer than it should but gosh darn it it's hella worth it. It's literally my first time I've done something like this, and I thought it was okay. There were some parts that definitely could've been improved but I'm really proud of the score that I've made. About the scene: Two rival, young, and new deputies on the force, DUSK and BOYD, had found themselves in an one-on-one conversation after BOYD ran off to the top of a hill because DUSK had mocked his behavior of drinking and got sent off duty after the death of his horse, Bandit. The conversation ended in an ambiguous way after they each spoke of their feelings about each other. Credits in the video description. Server from WildRP. I've provided score, just the music, and some context to some of the dialogues as well. Lemme know what you think! -Ferrum

  4. Thanks for listening! I agree that I definitely could expand on the works, they were more just like quick sketches 🙂

  5. I just completed this composition about an hour ago, it is my 8th String Concerto in E Major. What I like about this piece is the build up/tension 2/3 thirds of the way through. It changes key in a very complicating way several times during the staccato strings section (the build up) It took me a solid evening to finish this with a simple 4,5 then 1 to finish the composition, this is the big resolve at the end it is as simple as a 4,5 then 1 progression however just spaced out, this gives an almost finale or big ending feel to the piece. I intended for this work to be something slow or subtle however I got ahead of myself. I almost got a bit of both.

  6. I enjoyed those fps in #118. A simple and nice job that I feel that could've been developed a bit more. Sounds kinda baroque (not just because you chose a harpsichord sound I promise lol). And I'm sorry but I definitely wanted more with the #119. Sounded pretty cool for a 2nd part/movement of a multi-movemented piece. Thank you for sharing =), would be nice to listen to #120.

  7. sorry for the delay! Sick. I do intend on making this a part of a little suite, different things they encounter on the walk. Thanks man.

  8. I love your music. There hasn't been anything I've listened to that I haven't enjoyed. It's always cool to hear the evolution of a composer. I know this is an older one from you, and my only issue is that the transitions felt underdeveloped and too sudden, but your more recent pieces didn't feel that way. I feel like "nocturne" is a loose title, so don't feel like you have to adhere to anything special when writing one. This was night music to me. Your style is something very much to the music I like to listen to for enjoyment, and this one didn't disappoint. It'd be cool if one day you published all of your nocturnes as a set, I'd buy it!

  10. cool music! As I've told you many times before, I love your style. It's very unique, a language that's very much your own. What are your plans for this? As a stand alone piece, I could see this being injected into a cinematic scene, like the pathway down a magical rabbit hole or the time it takes to zip through a worm hole. As Peter mentioned, I don't see this one as a stroll, but rather the entrance to wonderland. Maybe write your next piano miniature as a continuation at a slower tempo, possibly even using rhythmic leitmotifs from this one. I just think it would serve you well as a composer to keep working on expansion; you always come up with awesome ideas, but the next step would be using devices in your tool kit to either write contrasting sections, developing your ideas further with adhering to a certain form, or if you like it the way it is, keep writing miniatures that go along with this one. I've heard so much hip hop from you lately that I forgot how great your piano works are...keep them coming!

  11. Jeje... I think a nocturne is a very wide concept. This one fits well in a night in my country. It's beautiful.

  12. In honesty, with the fast tempo and the more uplifting teasing tone of the melody with its grace notes and leaps, this sounds more like a gigue than really a nocturne. Nocturnes as far as I know are a bit more reflective and much slower to capture the night atmosphere. But if that's intended as a bold interpretation of the genre, then I'm fine with it. It's a very fun piece with its interesting harmonies.
