I think I could never emulate baroque style.... I only wanted to write something inspired in that music (which I love).

Nice score I enjoyed listening to it. I cant exactly pinpoint the exact style you were going for, was the score trying to emulate baroque music?

Nice job! Your brand of harmonically rich and filled out orchestrations really shines in this. I thought that this mp3 was recorded a bit too quiet on my end for some reason. I think you have a cool ambiguous harmony at the end when the cello ends on the E natural. I actually expected the E to slide down to an Eb creating an Ab major chord. Instead of that you took the Ab and slid that down to a G to create a C major chord. You also could have slid the C down to a B to make an E major chord of course LoL. Thanks for sharing this piece - I know you had your reservations about sharing a piece which was technically not yet done. It's too bad you couldn't participate in the competition on time because of your ear troubles.
