  2. Hello everyone, Here I am back among you, dear composers, to present you my latest composition: It is a piece for orchestra and solo clarinet, whose argument is to stage the run of a prisoner, in a spirit that I wanted to pay tribute to American cinema of the 1960s, or at least an evocation (and an argument). I don't have the score clean, but you can see a little what my manuscript looks like, which serves as a visual as I got used to on my recent compositions intended for Youtube. I hope you like it, in any case, it amused me (and took time)... Friendly yours K.

  5. Hello, Thank you for listening. Unfortunately for the moment, as I say above, I have not yet had the courage to start editing the manuscript. It's in my projects, as for my other music, but I really don't have time. It's a shame... Possibly I can copy you, for example, the beginnings of each handwritten part... It can give an idea, but there is only one piano score on 3 spans (it's the writing system I use for the pieces I intend to orchestrate, it seems very practical to me. I carry out the orchestration after this reduction, directly in the DAW).

Voice and Lyrics: Oddrun Eikli @oddrun-eikli Piano and Orchestration: Syrel @user-461764443 https://soundcloud.com/user-461764443/snowfall-final-mix-2 This music will make you remember the first snowfall as a child, and the pure joy, the time of innocence. Thank you so much Oddrun for this wonderful performance. It was a pleasure working with you on this song. - Lyrics - The Snowfall Sprinkles hope and light Crystals in a sparkling flight Snowbirds Flashing up into the air Sweet, soft, without fear Rustling down In winter wind Waiting for the Joy of Spring Snowfall ...

  7. Just a little instrumental I composed. Made it with Sonar 8.5 in the piano roll using various older sample libraries. Every note was entered using my mouse. I didn’t use a piano keyboard controller, only my mouse. And I also didn’t use any pre-made loops. If you would like to comment on it I am most interested in how the overall mix comes across on your end. I use headphones to mix (I know that is not advisable) but it’s the system I have. So if you notice any cringy things in the mix I would appreciate your feedback. Thanks and enjoy! -Rick

  8. Wow that's quite cool actually! I don't know anything on black metal or heavy metal but looks like it's a great agitation! Thanks for your sharing! Henry

  9. Hey Henry, I love this more and you do try to extend the movements in my opinion! There are more interactions between piano and the orchestra with the orchestra repeating what the Piano is doing, which is an improvement for me! I also love how you start to utilize the materials more! Even though it's more or less repetitions, for example in b.35 when after the e minor episode the first theme appears as nothing happens, but I think you start to have a sense of organizing your materials! I also enjoy the third movement as the harmonic progression and the use of instruments here are more reasonable than your previous works! The fast tempo and terraced dynamic is good as well, though I find the ending on b.19 a bit abrupt. Thanks for sharing and I am happy for your progress! Henry

  10. Certainly a grand work that encompasses several variations of style (hence mood) and works well, through-composed. I like how it varies from bold and intense orchestration to tranquil if uneasy moments. I like the orchestration. I also thought the way it disappeared was good/clever. Very nice. The kind of music I get on with but would have said more if a score had been offered! Cheers.

  11. Hi @hw1234, The first half can be a good reprise for a ternary form! Also you also work more on the harmonic progressions and the voice leading of chords. For example it will be strange to begins in G major in b.12 after a PAC in A minor in b.11 since the chords are quite unrelated. The nature of a chord is important too. Bare fifths in b.6 ,b.12-13 and b.28 will be strange in your music if you want to have the music in the Classical Style since bare fifths are ambiguous for its quality whether it's major and minor. But I am happy to see that you have tried to extend your movements! Probably the opening theme can be restated later and the theme in b.19 can be stated first in e minor to make sense of the form!
