  1. A little while ago, I was commissioned this (extremely) short piece to serve as an intro for a local radio program that talks about the artistic and cultural scene in my state (Veracruz, Mexico) Tras la Cultura.mp3 Tras La Cultura.pdf I am not very proud of the counterpoint in the dorian part, but overall, I liked how it turned out. I hope you like it too šŸ™‚

  2. Nice. Rhythmic, light and (as far as I can tell) Mexican sounding so it should have served it's purpose well. I recall some guitar pieces by M Ponce (Mexican Folk Song, and the TheĢ€me varieĢ et Finale). Although my favourite Mexican composer is Revueltas, I've listened to much Mexica classical, semi-classical music. Great little piece and it would be so good to write something a little longer.

  3. Following suit after my latest video's warm reception by my dear audience, I have decided to continue composing vocal works and rendering them through means of the choral rendering website Cantāmus. Interestingly enough (mostly given the fact that I am not that devout myself), religious texts appear to be among my best options when it comes to this kind of contrapunctal vocal works in Latin (though this need not necessarily always be the case, for more secular lyrics might as well be included on one of these compositions of mine later in the future). Enjoy! YouTube video link:

  5. Hi, a lovely light happy and joyous march. For me, it reminds me of the Italian Opera ... as all the players marched on stage - I was waiting for the soloist to begin the Aria! Great orchestration/texture/color ........... Mark
