  1. Hello I haven't uploaded anything here for some time. Too busy in what is actually my job.... But I have been studying (and continue...) the harmonic, and compositional world in general, of Romanticism. Which is fascinating. I really encourage anyone interested in composition to seriously study the resources of each period. We can always, always improve. So I am uploading this piece, after reviewing some Romantic works with that title.... I hope you like it. By the way, although I have hundreds of "works" written, I am discarding, reclassifying and renumbering from Op. 1, not caring if it is something written now or years ago, as long as it has some value to me.

  2. Thank you so much for listening and I am really glad you liked it, @mazeth! Yes, you are right. I did not realize at first but with continuous listening I became aware that bars 28-29 change a little bit the style. It is like if from a classical style the piece momentarily gets into a more anime/videogame filmy style for two bars (or that is how it sounds to my ears now). I am considering ways for fixing those bars for make it blend better. Thank you so much for the comment!

  3. Hi @JorgeDavid, really a nice piece, very coherent, and well constructed. The melody is really beautiful. Some elements somehow reminded me of Schubert's style. Bars mid-28 to mid-30 seemed a bit out of character. The end is very subtle, nice job! thanks for sharing! Julien

  4. Hello everyone, long time no see. My life has been a mess lately. Anyways, I thought this piece would be a cool way to get back to posting on the forum. As the title says I don't know what title to give the composition, but it should be something somber and evocative. Also this is one of my compositions with the most elaborate textures even though the work is only 32 measures long. For more information feel free to leave a question. 🙂
