  1. Great! I was hoping to get at least one more. I'm preparing to release another video before this challenge so you all still have more time.

  2. Hello I was surprised by the reference to Paco de Lucia. It's not that it's my favorite music, but it sounds very familiar to me being from my country and having seen his whole career evolve. I will check it out. I think jazz took two main lines, one that is totally tonal and includes a multitude of styles, even bebop etc. And another that moves away from this either as modal music or incorporating post-tonal elements. In another phase of my studies, I approached atonal music and set theory. although I wrote many things, they were still exercises and so on. My intention now is to explore the extended tonal harmony of jazz.

  3. The “Salamander” in the title refers to the Salamander Grand Piano SFZ file I used for the piano sound in my audio. Yeah, it’s a bit of an awkward move, but that’s how I organize my composition audio collection in my devices. ~Frank

  4. Hello! I'm interested in submitting a fugue. I should have it finished over the next few days.

  5. Hello @Frank Normandy I like the expressive part with the chords, though, as I have already said while reviewing other of your works, it would benefit from a more agitated figuration and pedal. But if the focus was on expressiveness. It is a good way to go. The usage of the minor four chord in a major key (which I think you have used, but I might be wrong) is really expressive, I recommend using it (for future compositions) with or replacing it with the half diminished second degree, as they are vey similar, jut with an added note Thanks for sharing Manuel PS why the “Salamander” in the title of the audio?

  6. I made another fugue for the challenge! This one is also a 3 voice fugue, in Bb major, 6/8 meter, with two middle entries, some stretto, and some false entries before the final entry. Made entirely in Music Jotter! Edit: I am also including another recording @chopin made for me using Kontakt Organ sounds! Thanks a bunch Mike! Fugue in Bb Major (14).mid
