It´s called Picardy third because it was used by musicians from Picardy, a province of France. You can notice in Bach´s French suites the minor movements finish with it.

You know what you´re doing. It sounds very confident. And I like all those original sounding harmonies. Could you explain how do you go about composing a new work? What´s your working method?
