  3. Okay, first post, you will all probably hate me, but since this is the "other" section I thought I might be able to convince you to listen to this. I do enjoy orchestral/chamber/etc etc etc composition and but I often venture into other fields. This is a piece that was improvised in a sense, so there really is no sheet music. *Ducks in cover* Here it is on purevolume (just click the song when the player opens on the right or download it): link. So if you don't want to review, go ahead and don't review it. It's a really nice piece in my opinion that involves an electronic kind of bass beat with piano overtop of it. The intro and other parts have rain effects. The drums come in and it comes to a type of "chorus". It goes back to the "verse" then brings in simple electric guitar in the next chorus. Bass drops out for a neat floating effect that I try to include a few times to tie the song together. Then some bad vocals come in (not lyrics ... you'll see ... or hear). You get used to them though and everything comes together and builds. Then the end is a drop to vocals and piano and rain effects. I hope you listen to it/enjoy it, despite not being able to follow along. Sorry, but I believe it's just not a "sheet music" type of song. At worst I hope you'll at least leave this post up. Anyway, the floating feeling is why I named it the cliffside. I imagined standing on the edge and the rain just hitting you and the dizzy feeling of floating and even imagining the fall. Of course it's not that deep though. It was completely recorded by me, with a computer-made drum beat and keyboard-made bass. Here again is the Cliffside in A Minor: purevolume link. Just click on the song when the player opens. Download if you please.
