  1. I wish I could play the cor anglais and/or the French horn. Sooo beautiful.
  2. Interesting. Thanks.
  3. (sorry if this is not the right forum) I realize a lot of people upload their works to this site (score and all), and I don't know what position these works are in (copyright, published, etc.). Is it safe to upload an un-published work here? Is there any privacy against non-YC users? I'm not so much wary of someone using my work (that I don't care of). I don't want someone stealing it and claiming it as their own. Uploading unpublished scores and midi representations seems a good way to have this happen, does it not? Didn't see anything on this skimming through searches. Thanks
  4. Wow! Thank you. I didn't need this exact information, but it helps me understand Sibelius just a little bit more. And, I'll keep it in mind if I ever do need something along those lines.
  5. So, do you like the music or not? (disregard who wrote it)If I liked it, I would listen to it. Whether he wrote it or not. But, personally, I think it sounds hideous.
  6. Interesting. I had thought briefly of doing that. But, wasn't sure how a performer would look at it. I guess adding the comp. note in there helps. Thanks.
  7. I've run up against this several times, but I've never found a suitable way to write it. Let's say I have a C triad broken up and played in eighth notes (quavers), but I would like to have each note held till the end of the measure. In Sibelius, I could split it into separate "voices", making the first note a whole note in one voice, and the second and third note another voice. Like this: http://img594.imageshack.us/img594/5097/ctriad.jpg But, that doesn't seem right to me. How would you handle this?
