  1. The soft ethereal sound of piano and solo soprano leads into the climax of driving rhythms and building strings... Ascension
  2. "Metropolis" (Epic, Adventure, Fantasy, Action) Metropolis
  3. Hey Isaias... Truly amazing! You got quite a talent. This piece is so epic and there are such great arrangements in there of the Potter Themes! If someone let me listen to this without knowing it was done by you, I would have thought it was Desplat or a big name himself. Downloading the full soundtrack, so thank you for such a great 'mock-score'. I love it! Keep up the great work! TRKStudios
  4. A little John William's-esque inspired cue. A large passenger Zeppelin embarks on a flight over a fantasy world... (or it can be whatever you think it sounds like...) Flight of the Zeppelin
  5. This is beautiful! Very Disney-esque. I'm a huge fan of that stuff and really appreciate what you've done here. The piano and staccato strings work wonders together. I agree with John in that I'd love to hear more in this style. You definitely have a skill for the Disney/Menken genre so great work!
  6. Shogun: The hereditary commander of the Japanese army who until 1867 exercised absolute rule under the nominal leadership of the emperor.Started off to be solely a percussive, driving rhythm and later developed into an ethnic piece. The goal for this piece was to achieve that big, epic, Hollywood sounding drums. The Koto and Shakuhachi were just an afterthought. This is the short version and a longer version is in progress. Shogun (Short Version)
  7. Thanks for the comment abd_zibdeh! This piece, like all my pieces, are solely sequenced. I do use Finale occasionally to orchestrate some things, but it's mostly done in a sequencing program.
  8. A little fanfare-type theme which I developed into a short, noble cue. Ivy League
  9. Magically dramatic, fantasy infused underscore... The Visionary
  10. The latest cue for my trailer library. Started off with the staccato string rhythms in the beginning and then the cue just developed from there. Wanted something epic and adventurous with a bit of an ominous feel to it in sections, leading up to the final crescendo and then, the film title appears... Tempest
  11. Nice string work coming out of the beginning and love the driving rhythms you have going on there. Unexpected change up in dynamics towards the middle with the softer string arpeggios, really enjoyable from a listening aspect. Choirs towards the end are epic! Great arranging with those. My only comment would be the instrumentation around :40 could use some straightening out. The flutes seem a bit hectic in the upper register there, but if that was the intention, then keep it. That's the only thing though from a listening standpoint that stood out. Great work though. Can't wait to hear more!
  12. There are some great ideas in here! Really like the opening underlying chords in the beginning with the great horn theme over top. They work very nicely together. Some interesting chord changes around 1:00 which are unexpected and really appreciated listening wise. The ostinato strings around the 3:00 minute mark have potential. I just think a little bit more execution on the dynamics as well as some more unexpected melody lines in there may boost that section a bit. Other than that, some great ideas here and it was great to here your interpretation of "The Moon", could totally envision some of the things you described while listening to this.
  13. The theme for an upcoming children's film I'm scoring involving pirates and of course, buried treasure... Swashbuckler
  14. Great use of percussion & drums in this! You're mixing skills really show at the beginning. You got great sound out of those rhythms at the beginning. The first measure of snare sounds a bit off, but once the other drums join it, it's crisp and fills out nicely. Some great melody moments in there provided by the solo violin. The amount of instruments is sparse but there are moments where you get a really full sound when you bring them together. Great job on this!
  15. Very interesting piece!! Love the moody, emotionally driven middle section. Beautiful themes in there. The beginning has a nice theme going on in the strings but it may be a bit subdued. I think bringing out those strings in the opening would give it a fuller, more coherent feel. But none the less, still a strong opening. Great work!! Hope to hear more...
