  1. On the Importance of the Composer Where is the noise? The sound? The melody? The Beat? Yes…The Beat Put a hand on your chest. Hear it? You should. It's your heart. It's your life. It's the key of all that is art. It is the noise. It is the music. Music is the noise. Music is the key essence of the human being That small heartbeat gives us the rhythm we need to achieve greatness. That…That is Mankind. Words show thoughts. Speech shows emotion. Music shows the soul. The key to understanding is the key to peace. The key is music. Play a song Listen… Not to the words Listen… Not to the voice Listen… Do you hear it? Listen… It's the Music. One's true mind and understanding is their music. The love The friendships The care The heartaches The suffering Despair It's all there It's always there It's a moment in time Saved by the ears Memories change Thoughts Change Outlooks change Music stays the same It may take many forms It may take many genres It may take many notes But it's still the same It will always last It will always entertain It will always inspire It will always… Beat. Beat. Beat. It will always start there. Listen. ~Anthony J Noonan (Composer for Tony's Keys)
  2. Hey, I havent posted anything in awhile. A friend of mine asked me to compose the music for a mystery-thriller rock musical he wanted to write. this is the opening number to it. i think its a pretty good rock song but its not up to me. tell me what you think -AJ the .MUS file sounds better on finale songwriter than finale notepad for some reason MYSTERY THRILLER SONG.MID MYSTERY THRILLER SONG.MUS
  3. A few of us at our school are preparing to write the musical to be done for next year's drama club. This song is one of the songs that we will be using in the play. This is the first copy and still needs some work but the gist is here. The song is of a recovering alcoholic who is deciding whether to continue being sober when tempted by the sight of a glass of beer in front of him. Staring at the Fuzz.MUS
  4. If one person is able to like one of my songs, I know I've done my job. You were right about the lyrics. I try to write my words of how I feel the world must be able to change. Thank you Snail Guy -A.J. Noonan (Pianist, Vocalist, Composer - Tony's Keys)
  5. I finally got around to posting this song on our site www.myspace.com/tonyskeys
  6. I redid the song Enough that I did earlier this year (it originally was kind of a boring song). Well the new instrumental is up now on www.myspace.com/tonyskeys The newer version is much better than the original and I hope you enjoy. -Anthony
  7. Great song man. Just great song. The instruments blend in perfectly.
  8. Good song. I kept listening to it. Very catchy, nice job. Keep your voice sounding the way it is. Very unique.
  9. The song has extreme dramatic effect. Good piece. I would label it as more of an action game sequence rather than a requiem though.
  10. i removed the old .MUS The new one without the typo is up now.
  11. thanks how did i miss that
  12. This is a song of a guy who's deadbeat friend, no matter how many times he lets him into his home, keeps stealing his things. WDYG.MUS
  13. Just send it when you have time. Thanks
  14. I have Finale Notepad and it doesn't have any of those features on mine. There's one song currently that I need as Midi. If it's not too much trouble, could you do it for me this once and send me the midi file? It would be very appreciated. The song is Another day in the city. It's on the first page of the rock and jazz
