  1. I like the variations of the main theme.
  2. thanks.. i have an idea for another movement.. gosh this is going to be a lonnnng song soon
  3. thank you. all your comments were very helpful. I'm printing out the scores right now so that i can do some fine tuning at a real instrument. I see the piece as just trying to show what its like to squeeze music, if music could be squeezed. Thats why I end with the same theme as the beginning. Music is very flexible. To be honest, I just kind of threw the end together. Ears are very sensitive to lack of work. haha
  4. measures 79 and 81 arent impossible!! i have big hands. measures 93-99 is the beginning of the 2nd movement. the preceeding measures repetitions of theme were supposed to lead into the new phase
  5. easily adaptable music.. once i've gotten the hang of finale a little bit i'll focus on that.
  6. i listen to what i compose and cant stop.. thats one thing so wonderful about technology and its ability to do things for us. You must listen anyways or you're blindly composing
  7. yes.. this is a very hard piece to actually play. but as a listener, i really enjoy it.
  8. First off, if any of you would care to convert this to midi for me, then I would be happy and attempt to give you a high five. I've spent the past 3 days staying up late and waking up early to work on this composition for piano. My first serious go at my demo version of Finale Print music. I can't think clearly at the moment, ask questions and give comments.:) :w00t: :w00t: Click here for Chopinesque Chopinesque.mus
  9. Hmm.. If this is an adventure game we're talking about, then I disagree with not needing to get anywhere fast. You want music that inducts a hype so that the players adrenaline rushes and focuses completly on the game and its enchanting music. Dynamics are enchanting when used correctly. Keep up the good work!
  10. i like it, but at 29 seconds you have an F.. to me its an ugly note for that part. F# please? It sounds too flat to be honest. The song sounds like I'm having deep thoughts in oklahoma in the middle of nowhere, without hills, without depth. It's beautiful, but will not get anywhere fast without more rising and falling of dynamics.
  11. the opening.. i like the opening. and the part at 35 is a musical joke, or just me being saracastic and desperate to finish a piece that was just a test run.. soon.. you will hear something better.. give me another day or two to work on this next piece.
  12. Free file hosting by Savefile.com here it is..
  13. hmm.. i'm having trouble uploading an mp3.. sigh.. My apologies.
  14. ok.. now this is my first try at using software to compose music. I'm only posting it so you can see how I progress in the future. Tell me about how bad this is.
  15. Not a bad piece, but the thing that gets on my nerves would be the excess damper pedaling, or it could be a sostenuto. Too much. It clashes the whole song together.
