  1. I'd like to play the Sitar. Or the jaw harp. Killer jaw harp...
  2. I like them both, they create a nice feel - I think I might like the second one better, but I'm not sure.
  3. Yeah, now listening to it again, I can tell I do need to work on the fast picking more - making it a bit more clean and refined. And about getting bored halfway, don't worry, most of the time soloing I'm a little more focused on what I want to do rather than what I think people want to hear... -_- Still, thanks a lot for the comments, appreciate it!
  4. I've a lot of ideas and stuff that I've been messing around with, so I just kind of took some of those ideas and put it into a little improv. (Well, ok, it's not so little, it's about 5:30.) However, keep in mind it's very rough, so nothing's "final". I'm using a hollow body Samick pluged into a standard Fender amp with a pinch of distortion. The little jazzy riff towards the end is a tribute to a Wes Montgomery song, though it doesn't real fit much. It kind of skips at about 4:05, and the ending's weak, and because my microphone is awful it sounds kind of "stuff". Other than that, enjoy! constructive criticism is welcome. Click here for it
  5. Not necessarily defending xtremeaiy, but what's so bad about non-cohesiveness? It's music after all, you can do whatever you want to, and if you like how it sounds you can keep it that way, even if it doesn't follow some strict pattern...
  6. That's what I was just thinking. Admittingly, it does lose its charm in 4/4. It's very well done, but I think I would change some of the instruments around and stuff, though I love the vibes.
