  1. Your entry is beholden. It is also the only one to be submitted before the deadline. Deadline changed to "whenever".
  2. Sorry guys, but I'm going to have to withdraw. I can now confidently say that I hate variations form! :P
  3. Actually more obligated, believe it or not :P
  4. I have about two half-baked variations and I'm testing out ideas for the next one. I'm titling mine "5 hilariously short variations".
  5. Joined, and currently writing. (P.S. Darn, Christian! I already started writing… Dibs on second fugue! Even though it's not really a fugue… :P)
  6. Yes, one more judge would be perfect! Thanks, OmarSanchez.
  7. That would be a good idea. Too bad I'm learning that I don't like variations form too much :P
  8. Changed deadline to July 30 because of the lack of submissions.
  9. Changed deadline to July 15 because Sonataform is judging his competition's entries.
  10. Here is my submission (a part of it, maybe): http://www.youngcomposers.com/music/listen/6491/Prélude
  11. I'll enter, and actually submit something this time ;P
  12. I too would like to enter!
  13. Okay, thank you!
  14. This is the first 16 bars of Albumlatter, Op. 124. Thanks for joining!
  15. I challenge you to write a set of variations on this beautiful theme by R. Schumann! I would've included the chord symbols, but that would make it too easy for you. :P I would like to request some judges, if possible. Anyways, the requirements are no less than 5 variations, it has to be for piano, and you must include 2 other keys: one minor, one major. Deadline is whenever. Enjoy! (Note: I also will be competing. Mwahahahaha!) Judges: 1. Stirling_Radliff 2. OmarSanchez 3. Competitors: 1. ccolson39 2. Sonataform 3. DanJTitchener 4. Theme in D minor - Full Score.pdf Theme in D minor.xml
