Thanks for the feedback. I promote a kind of composing that a friend and myself started using. We call it self-constructive composition. It has to do simply with thinking of a subject, here given as a Knight, and to compose based on the mood, actions, and such of that subject. The changing melody of the piece is indicative of trying times for our knight, as well as (major parts) heroic success. I suggest you try the technique sometime; While some people may not understand, it is quite useful when attempting to create material.
Perhaps you would all like some translations :
The First measure itself is an entire idea: Awakening from sleep.
2 - 8: Dealings with the church
9 - 15:Searching the cave for the Dragon
16 : The Battle
17 - 18: Victory
19 - 22: The Spoils of Victory
23 - 26: The Princess
27 - 28: The End
29 - End: Falling Asleep
(Call me a crackpot, these are the images I used.)
Thank you again for teh critiques. I was quite pleased with it myself :)
