  1. Hi, I received your PM and I just sent my reply.
  2. Just a quick update - I have two people at the moment who are "working" on this but I'm losing hope on those people because one them is already "working" on it for about 4 weeks (but she hasn't sent me anything such as a draft to show me her progress) and the other is not responding to my follow-up questions anymore. So, if you're willing to try this, please contact me via PM. Thanks.
  3. Just a follow up on these - James and Robert are having a busy schedule so I need a couple of more people who want to try out if they can make the music for me. So, if anyone else is interested, then send me a PM. Thanks.
  4. Because I don't have a background on writing music notes. I don't even understand what you wrote.:) James and Robert sent me private messages and I'll send them emails to see whether they can do them. If any of you are still interested, you can still send me a message but I'll only respond if I didn't like the music that James or Robert came out with.
  5. To James and Robert, I just need the harmonies. I'll produce/mix the song. Send me a private message along with your email address so I can send you the voice file and the lyrics if you are interested. Thanks.
  6. Hi Nigel, here are my answers to your question. Compensation - there is no pay since the podcast will not be a paid program. It will be free to everyone and I'm hoping to release it on mid-May or earlier. The name of the music composer will be mentioned at the end of each podcast though (as well as his or her website if he or she wants to). Description of the song - the song is about a singer describing himself or herself what he or she does in a fantasy (actually, video game) world. Description of the podcast - It is about a boy who is transported into a video game world that he's familiar of. As for the basic tune issue, forget about it. When I was writing the lyrics, I had a tune in my head. And when I was looking for a (male or female) singer, I asked them to just sing my lyrics with their own tune. I narrowed my selection to two females and their tunes sounded better than what I had in my head. Actually, after giving it some more thought, I came to the conclusion that the tune that I had, was designed more for a male singer. So, now, I want the music composer to compose the music based on my female singer's tune. I have an open mind about the tunes so if the composer thinks that the stanza or chorus parts needs to have a different tune than the one that my singer have, then maybe I'll pick the composer's tune. I hope these answers your questions. If you have anymore, then just let me know.:)
  7. I'm looking for a pop music composer. The project is for a podcast series that I'm making. I already wrote the lyrics, have a singer for the song, and the basic tune. If you are interested, then please reply here. If you have some examples, that would be great but not necessary. The music composer will be credited at the end of each podcast.
  8. I've finished the second podcast. My website address is Radioplay Contests - Index They are about radioplays which includes fan-based productions such as Superman, Batman, Star Trek, and Soul Calibur. A lot of radioplay producers would love some original music for their productions so if any of you would like to be a part of something fun, feel free to introduce yourselves in the forum and say that you can help them with their production by making original music for them. Feel free to plug my website somewhere else here in youngcomposers. I'm not really sure where to make this kind of post so I'm posting it here since it's relevant to my thread.
  9. That's okay. We all have busy lives. I used the same music that you made for me (for my videogame podcast) in my new podcast too. Can I still use it on my second and future podcast episodes? I've credited you as 'Marius' in the first podcast episode. Do you want me to add your last name in the credits too?
  10. I still need a music composer for my podcast. Marius was the one that I picked but he hasn't replied to my emails lately so I'm looking for a new person to make the music for me.
  11. You can still try Alex. What I meant in my reply that Marius can try to make something but it's not for sure that I'll take it.
  12. Hi, I am Lee and I've posted here before asking for a music composer for a video game podcast. I chose Marius for my videogame podcast and I would like to thank him publicly for making it. I'm done with the video game podcast and I'm moving on to a different kind of podcast. This time, my podcast is about the world of amateur voice acting. You know, like the people who participate and voice the characters in flash videos at newgrounds.com I would like the music to be like the theme from Star Wars Episode II or E.T. where it only has about 5 - 10 notes and it keeps on repeating itself with different instruments, tone, speed, etc. The length should be approximately 1 minute long and it has to have a "fun" feel to it. You will be credited at the end of each podcast. You can send it at my email which is 3dcreator at mts dot net. Thanks a lot in advance for those who will try on making the music. Lee
  13. Hi, Although Marius was first, I still would like other people to send me their samples so I can more choices to pick. So Songjun, I'll send you an email too.:)
  14. Hi Marius, thanks for the offer, I'll send you an email.
