Well I managed to solve most of my woes with upping the attack and adding some convincing reverb to hide choppiness.

So I have a solo part for a violin running through Session Strings Pro in my DAW; however, the fast parts of it going up and down the scale sounds very short and choppy. How can I reproduce something close to a bow moving up and down and not be left with something that sounds like the bow is just moving in one direction for these parts? I tried adjusting the attack, but I don't believe that really does enough for it.
