  1. Sorry for the long time it took me to answer. I wasn't home for two weeks now. Anyhow, Yep, I'm satisfied with this melody :) I hope we can develop it further.
  2. here is a melody I made. I hope it meets your expectations Melody.MUS
  3. Still working on a normal theme. it'll take some more time I'm taken up with other work. But I'l manage to post it I guess by the middle of next week. I hope you don't mind.
  4. Here is the exercise you asked me to do. I'm still trying tro conceive some adequate melody, though. Exc3.MUS
  5. okay here goes :) Measure 1: Combined the first parts of motives 1 and 2, then added the second down of motive 2 again repeated the first part of the 1 and two motives and then took the down by scond of the second and last motives. Measure 2: took the down by second and the up by second of motives 1 and 2 then combined the rythm of motive1 with the intervals of the 2nd motive and up by third of the third motive. Measure 3: combinations of different parts of motives 1 and 2 Measure 4: combination of 1 and two and rounding off :
  6. Here is a four measure trail. I want to know if I'm on the right path here :) so I'l lbe very gald to hear your comments about it. Exc2.MUS
  7. That's all I could come up with :) it was quite difficult. I hope I understood you correctly, I tried to mix different parts of the differnet motives. Exc2.MUS
  8. Here is the exercise. I combined only two motvies at a time, like you instructed me. I hope that's what you meant. Exc1.MUS
  9. yeah. Motive is the building block of a musical composition. I suppose, it can be anything from one note to two measures more or less.
  10. a very nice piece ;).....and I really like the harp. sounds very sweet and it doesn't sound like the underground in a good way....it's soft and melodious. keep up the good work :)
  11. I really liked the piece. The ending, even though I understood it should be abrupt, was too much so in my opinion. The melody sounded a bit Scarlatti like :w00t:. The second section was really nice , I liked the ponderous feeling it had.
  12. I'll try to work through the hanon exercises, and to play it slowly until I play it perfectly :whistling: thank you for the advice.
  13. Hey, I'm currently working on the Mozart la minor(a) sonata (the quicker one). in the second movement at the final cadence there's a part where you trill with the 3rd and 4th finger with alternating mi and re and simulatneously play do and move it to si. Further more, in the left handm after you moved to si you play a trill too. I find it quite difficult to play. Is there any suggested practice for that? thank you
  14. I think that you can learn to play without a teacher. But, if you want to be good at it, or avoid injuries you should learn with an experiencedd teacher.
  15. Major sixth, of course! :P it has the most "airy"/ponderous/you get the idea; sound I just really like it.
