Hi, I run Norwich Baroque, a small period instrument ensemble established in 2006 in Norwich, Norfolk, UK. We are running a composition competition (now in its 5th year) with closing date 1st April 2018. This year we are asking composers to set as many or as few lines as they wish of Christopher Smarts poem "For I consider my cat Jeoffry" for soprano and strings.

The prize is £500. The winners composition will be performed twice... on July 20th and 21st 2018.
