  1. I STRONGLY disagree with that statement, but you are entitled to your opinion. The reason there is no definite "end" is because the memories of that beloved pet live on forever, and that is represented by how the loop "never ends". =) Either way, there has been a new version uplaoded.
  2. Wow, this song is old... o_o I uploaded a new version, I suppose it's my only version now? Wow It's been such a long time since I was on here!
  3. -more to come soon- Carry Me Away
  4. Island Dance is a "continuation" of Carry Me Away, if you will. This is what happens while on the "tropical paradise" Island Dance
  5. I had the same problem... It's getting so upsetting ><
  6. This is a very fun piece, it reminds me of Tetris a lot. I can picture many of the different musicians dancing in their seats while playing. Great stuff!
  7. This seems to me more like the egyptian theme from some epic movie. I don't think an oboe can go that high.. O_O But either way this is pretty darn good! I can picture the sands rushing across the desert. I just don't like how it ends... so abruptly.. @_@
  8. The unnamed island "march" and the Island Dance. This is a fun little piece starting out with a march-like beat called.. well, the Island 'march'. I call it a sort of battle between the brass and woodwinds. It's a giant build up until the main melody finally breaks out, which all groups of instruments play. Kind of a satirical piece. It then dissolves into my favorite piece, Island Dance. The energy of the dance might make you want to dance! I went to my band leader to see what he thought of it and if it might be concert band material, he told me all I had to do was write parts for instruments (or make it sound like a concert band was playing) so I did. I actually used the program Fruity Loops for this entire thing. You may notice how flute and clarinet take more charge here. That's on purpose. Please enjoy! This is the fourth piece I majorly worked on. Link: Island Fanfare Suite For Concert Band Edit: These are two separate songs, but put together so our band leader could have a nice lengthy piece to work with. I'll try to make the transition less... 'painful'. =)
  9. An airy tune that is right now in its most raw state. If I like it enough I might make this into a long song iN FL, but for right now it's a repeating (looping) song that might do well for a character theme. I made this in honor of my bird (who was amazing). It's like a breeze in a song. This feels like.. an island, yet like you're high up in a mountain, on an Island. Think Dragonroost Island from Zelda Windwaker. I have a MIDI and a MUS. I think the MUS sounds better. Again, this was done in less than an hour, because the song popped into my head, and I did not wish to lose it. D: I hope you like! Wing Over.MUS Wing Over.MID
  10. I've worked on this since... December of last year... Released one earlier version (that sounded just.. not cool.) and finally, after seemingly years of practicing and creating (Did it all on Fruityloops), this was the end result. The best way I can describe this is it has a fusion type sound.. somewhat of a D&B sound.. the style switches to semi-orchestral then goes back to D&B, only to transform into more latin dance stuff. and of course, jazzy (which is why I think it fits best in the jazz category) I truly hope you like it, it's a leading flute and clarinet, with piano, bass (think double bass), a harp like instrument.. violin, cello, and much more! Please enjoy! Carry Me Away
  11. I'm sorry yo.... Words fail me. (That is a good thing.) And no, I have no critique to offer.
  12. My first piece I ever composed....... got a MAJOR overhaul! One year, and Forty-Eight instruments later... this is what happened. There are sound effects in here to accentuate different... "periods" throughout the song. If some are louder than the song itself, it was meant as an element of surprise. I do hope you enjoy this. The Four Winds Fanfare (Waltz of the Four Winds) Fanfare - Intro Spring Breeze Summer Gust Autumn Whisper Winter Storm Winds of Memories.. Finale
  13. I'm afraid I CAN'T post any lyrics here yet. My and my friend/co-writer have to finish the words first. Then he and I will sing it, THEN I'll post it here. Also, the link has been updated. The original version sounds more flowy, not so muffled...
  14. Hey, that reminds me of me! Only I actually started a year ago...
  15. Pedro Martins - Awesome, thanks! pianoman216 - Thanks! Songjun - Thanks, but how was the original? And he didn't REmix it. He just added some FX.
