  1. Hello, thanks for listening! Yes, definitely influenced by The Smiths, I will admit. Here are the lyrics: Playing in a rock n' roll band, You want to be out on the road, on your throne, But instead you walk the cold streets, Grey around you, all you can see Take me to a new place the horizon, I'm looking out on a brand new day, Take me to a new place the horizon, I'm looking out on a brand new day, Disappointment goes down like, Drinking ale over many nights, Living upside down, turn it all around Take me to a new place the horizon, I'm looking out on a brand new day, Take me to a new place the horizon, I'm looking out on a brand new day
  2. An attempt at and indie pop/dream pop song... with a guitar solo. Let me know what you think, thank you!
  3. Sounds good! Very relaxing and it does remind me of summer. Maybe a pad synth sound in the background?
  4. Not the sort of the thing I usually listen to at all, so I don't have any detailed comments, but it was an interesting listen and I liked it! I think it has a good sort of frantic energy.
  5. Ressurection.mp3 An attempt at composing a more bombastic and loud piece with quiet sections, different from my usual style. Would be interested to hear your thoughts. Thanks!
  6. Hi, thanks for listening! The slurs were place by me. Some of them are shorter because the left hand would have to make a fairly big jump between the notes which I think would be hard to play legato. Or, I am incorrect in thinking this and slur is supposed to be very long most of the time?
  7. Db Bach Style Piece.pdf Db Bach Style Piece.mp3 Hi everyone, This piece came to me after listening to Bach and certain sections of the piece are inspired by him, but not all. The title is just a place holder because I can't think of anything at the moment. I don't make many scores, so any comments on it (and the piece of course) would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
  8. Ahh, that's interesting, I'll have a play around with and see what I come up with, thank you. I like the variation idea
  9. Thank you very much! Is the contemplative section supposed to recapitulate once more as part of the form?
