    Wow, that was fantastic! I really like the cello part, and I think the mood of the song fits great with the....um.....interesting lyrics and storyline. I wish I had a friend to write songs like this for me, lol

    It reminds me of the theme on Rainbow Road from Mario Kart from N64. I don't know if that means anything to you, but I liked it. The non-harmonic notes added an interesting color to it.

    Okay you guys, this is my very first composition ever, and so this is only the like 45 second introduction to the piece. I figure I better get feedback on this before going on, so I guess just tell me if the basic melody is workable, or if I should just scrap it. Also, I don't know what's happening, but the midi file doesn't always play all of the parts, so I'm not sure what to do. Okay, I've finished the piece now, but please I still need advice everyone! It is entitled Lamentation for Clarinet and String Orchestra Lamentation.MID
