Hello chopin and Henry,
Thank you very much for your kind feedback, which I really appreciate.
@chopin, to be honest, I do not know for sure, how the sound was produced, as it is one of the pre-set sounds and unfortunately I am no expert in this. Yes, you are right, the recording needs a bit of cleaning.
I am happy that those feelings came across as that was the intention. The story of Noah, a person overwhelmed by the great waters, who is looking to find some hope and understanding, is actually a wonderful allegory of life.
@Henry Ng Tsz Kiu, I can relate to what you are saying. I imagine a great sea which is amorphous and flowing, so the sound is “round” and without clear borders. The bass represents the depths of the sea as the boat is rocking on the waves (and like you are saying, the sea is an ancient element juxtaposed to life of one person). The intention was to portray a symbol, not the exact story, which I think would require a different soundscape.
Thanks again.
