  1. Short RnB/HipHop instrumental I made with the non-existent free time I have. Was aiming to make this sound sad. Lyrics are meant to be used on top of this but if that's not possible, I suppose this could be video game music? RnB/HipHop Instrumental
  2. im only nine months late with this reply but thank you! I shall expand on this sooner or soon and thank you for the advice
  3. I like this. Instantly reminded me of a Legendary Pokemon battle or something from Final Fantasy. Idk if that was the exact feel for it. Overall I liked it. Just a personal preference, I feel like percussion should be more prominent in a battle scene but thats just me. - And the moment I say that the snare comes in. Thumbs up!.
  4. O_O This is sexy. I love the Pirate feel this gives.
  5. Short piece I whipped together using Fl studio 9. Still not comfortable with FL studio and video game music but Hopefully I will improve over time. Supposed to be a short loopable title screen theme of sorts. VST used was Edirol Orchestral. Title Theme
  6. 2 Thumbs up. I like this a lot. The mood changes were pretty well done.
  7. L-l-l-laaadies and gentlegerms, the King and Queen has just arrived. Beautiful instrumentation. I really like the Noble feel this has. VSTs?
  8. Fantastic. What video game is this from again? If it's not already in a video game, it should be.
  9. No clue how I'm going to rewrite this. Going to have to do it strictly by ear. Currently am using FL Studio 9 with Edirol Orchestral plugin so that should bump up the sound quality of the instruments a few and a half notches. I understand the clipping problem that is going on. Thankyouu (:
  10. hahah what just happened. I'm commenting right after the disk-drop thingy lol. I liked that a lot. Epic twist of moods haha. This is pretty fun!
  11. I... do not know how to comment but this was without a doubt undoubtfully interesting and fun to listen to. Nothing sounded blurry and everything sounded pretty smooth to me.
  12. BAM! Loved the brass and percussion with the low strings in the beginning! But I'm incredibly biased towards those sections I loved the string riffs that came in as well. Got a very good sense of Chaos and...[insert correct descriptive word here] Nothing I disliked about the piece. Can't wait to hear more! This would fit very well in a demo as far as I'm concerned. Adding this to favorites.
  13. Short orchestra-like piece I made a while ago. Have been contemplating going back and redoing this since I now have access to much better sound samples.-The mood I was attempting to create in this was some sort of Western prairie setting. Hopefully that was accomplished. I do not have a score for this unfortunately. Was made with Finale 2009 and ran through Audacity.Currently have FL Studio 9. Going to be attempting to write more orchestra-oriented music for the next few months. Have been studying and working largely with RnB/HipHop/Pop for the last really long time.It should also be noted, for whatever it's worth, that this piece was incredibly fun to compose, at the time. At least, from what I remember it was. Short Orchestral Theme
  14. I... am replying so incredibly late to these comments. Attempting to become more active on YC. Attempts are not going so well so far. I was going for a relaxing feel as well. I don't understand how to make the end project clearer though. I assume that is done through mastering?
