  1. I think understanding and engineering the emotional response of the listener is probably more important than expressing your own emotions; the engineering is a personal process and, in some cases, self expression can be effective - depends on compositional technique or genre I guess - but it's not a requirement.
  2. There's a nice lilting quality to the melodies of the first two that didn't reappear in any of the last three. The cycling through the fifths got a bit boring to my ears, maybe due to sticking to A minor. But the first two I enjoyed much. Well done.
  3. It's all in the title. I want to paste from another file into the second layer of a single staff, but it wipes everything out on the layer below.
  4. Well, it's me. I do apologise for keeping it so well hidden. It's just, it's just this flipping pesky fear of success that dogs me. I'll get over it soon guys, hang tight.
  5. Not having replies doesn't mean your piece has been rejected. Try reply to some other pieces for a while, and advertise yours you want analysed in your sig.
  6. Impressive stuff. It's a nice little synth. Are you willing to share your presets?
  7. And what about exporting midi from reason -> importing to finale?
  8. Nice. I'm with the opinion that the change is a little too disruptive to the overall flow. But the main piece is good fun.
  9. Tom Waits *(I Don't Wanna Grow Up!) Sigur Ros Pixies Queen ROXETTE Clearwater Arcade Fire Bob Dylan NirVAna Les Savy Fav Dodo's Bon Ivir Acoustic Ladyland ----- And on the subject. Britney has, in my opinion, a fantastic team behind her. Say what you will, but to pull an album out of her broken image with a song titled "give me more" is pure genius. Lamentable, but still.
  10. Don't fail me now team!
  11. Who composed the song in the intro to this Carl Jung doc? Satori’s Psychedelic Weblog - Your Daily Dose of Legal Highs!
  12. Thanks, It would be interesting, if you had the time, but I'm not considering getting this played at all so there's no need for it. I am interested in writing something for harp alone soon, so maybe I could get some feedback from you on it?
  13. Yeah, count me in.
  14. Does anyone know where I could find phonetic pronunciations of liturgical texts in latin? Free would be nice..
