  1. I really like it. Especially... I think it was harp at the end? That was a pretty cool touch right there. The violin was it? at some points sounded really screechy but I'm guessing that's just the recording. Would love to hear what it would sound like played by a living, breathing group!
  2. One of my favorite composers of all time by far. We played all of Lincolnshire Posy in my high school band two years ago. As a saxophonist, of course, I loved it! Although the time signature changes were strange at first, once you get the feel of it, it's actually pretty fun. There's not a lot of pieces you'll find time signatures like 1.5/4 and 2.5/4. I definitely learned a lot from playing it. Favorite movement in that piece, although I love them all, would have to be the sixth one, The Lost Lady Found. As TheMeaningofLife said, he is definitely a star in the wind band world.
  3. Haha... that's great. I can just see little toy soldiers (like the ones from Toy Story) going around trying to save the day. That's clever!
  4. I really, really liked that... especially right in the beginning. Ends abruptly, so hopefully there's more? Great job! ;)
  5. Hmm... "original piece" really means "take from our already made themes"? Whoda thunk it?! Oh, well. Still, that piece is pretty amazing. I would be extremely proud :)
  6. Like was stated before, there's a lot going on and it's nicely put together. The only thing is that it's just extremely busy, but as someone brought up, this would be pretty cool in a really intense part of the game. I will say, the drum part makes my head spin! :) Nicely done though!
  7. Gotta be the tritone! All I can think of is West Side Story
