  1. hello, I will send you the parts when I get back from my vacation... in august. I would be enthralled if you performed it. :)
  2. you would probably have to load an instrument for each channel, though you could combine channels. not sure what you mean by the multi's in sibelius...
  3. mm I am not sure, I am sure it would be in the settings of EQSWL or in a place where you modify each instrument. In reaper if you use the built in midi editor you can see what channels are being used, and edit the midi file with the block style notes. personally I use GPO so I am afraid I can not be of much help
  4. what is the vst you are using? is it set to correct channel for the midi?

I liked this, very fun, it does seem a little bit challenging but not to bad. unlike serge I think it is good with its current instrumentation.
  6. If you add some drums and a few more effects this track could go somewhere
  7. good call, I will change that. glad that you liked it Serge! I will probably write some more movement to this
  8. first off that is a very funky synthy pizzicato overall I was somewhat disappointed this piece was entertaining (I always find short pizzicato pieces to be for some reason) but for an experiment this really is not very interesting since the rhythm is very repetitive and the harmony isn't even that dissonant or explorative though it is colorful. I think you could experiment a lot more! I suppose this could be a nifty interlude to something, not sure did you have anything particular in mind with this piece? it has a provocative title
  9. yes it is probably made with vst's and samples and the lot. you can probably do this with logic, but I don't know anything about it. I assume logic has midi and vst support in that case you could certainly make music like that
  10. I was trying to portray how I perceived thoughts at the time, as building on each other yet changing, then coming back to the main idea then introducing a new familiar one. that is what I was trying to potray
  11. its not midi, its garritan. perhaps I should polish it a bit, instead of just recording the playback
  12. I don't know much about vocal music, but this seems like a really solid piece, though you might want to clean the score up a bit at places where the stems and lyrics overlap. Overall I liked it and found it harmonically interesting!
  13. Downloading their Tibetan prayer bowl right now :)
  14. A Motley Quartet for flute, two violins, and a cello. I wrote most of it while in class studying, and then built on the rest later. Its not atonal but it is very adventures in its harmony--not really bound by any standard rules or such. when composing I was just thinking about thoughts and how they build, so I tried to make the piece a little bit like the thought process. thus it has a few themes that are similar to other works, and is very seldom random.
