4 days and no help from Sibelius so far....

true but then why have a finale/sibelius help section?

for some reason my cymbal is sounding like its constantly...closed...not sure how to describe it. Closest thing it resembles when i have it roll is something allways holding it down rather than it sounding free. What has caused this annoyance? sib 5 by the way

I recently got this product. I never used any sound samples outside of what came with sib 5. The sounds are not what i expected ( as in not real enough for me). I actually prefer the crap that came with sib 5. Is there something that i am not doing to get the real texture of it?

I know the known world has yet to make a sound that does the saxophone justice but what is the best program out there that comes close? Garritan has the jazz/big band and concert band products but those seem to be the only things i can find that have saxes. I can only find orchestra products. Help me find some?

My computer is being an arse about accepting a pdf converter so i was wondering if someone could convert my sib. project to be compatible with finale?

Just for fun i wanted to make a nice arrangement of the music heard at the end of the video game " sonic the hedgehog 2" I got all the parts from ear. I would love to have any and all suggestions to how i could make this better, more musical, and orchestral. I would love to hear tips on how i should distribute the music and to which instruments would sound best in an orchestra. the original song was done in all synth sounds. Provided here on my link is my myspace music page where i put up my tunes. The first 2 are the Original version as heard in the game and the second is my arrangement thus far. Like i said i would love any comments you have on how i can redo or improve this, especially percussion. I have the computer power though i may need to purchase a 2nd external hard drive.( i updated with good deals on Black Friday!) And i have sib 5. I was just wondering which library had the best quality sounds for my price range which is no more than $500 at this time.
