  1. This piece was originally intended to be used as part of a larger scale work I was composing, but the larger work fell apart. Picking up the pieces, I was particularly fond of some of the ideas in this piece, originally titled "Isolation Overture", now simply "Isolation". Although I originally intended for it to be a mellower piece with less instrumentation, it evolved and, especially with the drums, became more moving with a fuller sound. Instrumentation: Marimba (featured part), Bass, Strings (possible cello and two violas), 2 trumpets, hand drums, and alt percussion (shaker and cymbal). 2. Hello everybody. I'm new here, and I'm posting my first solo piano piece. I wish I had a story about how I was inspired by the autumn leaves falling down, etc., but the story behind this song is actually kind of lame. I was at a family gathering, and got bored, so I went to the electric piano, plugged in headphones, and started improvising around. I really loved some of the ideas that I had come up with, so when I returned home, I combined and developed them into a more complete piece. The title "Colors of Autumn" just comes from some words that popped into my head when I was playing one of the melodies - Look at all; look at all the pretty colors; in the fall- and "autumn" just sounds cooler than just "fall". I haven't done sheet music for this yet, since it was just developed as I was playing, but I think I'm going to give it a shot in the near future. Anyway, here's the track, hope you enjoy it. 3. This the first piece that I've posted here, so hello everybody. I composed this piece as part of a fan-based content group for the game Myst Online: Uru Live. The creators of a fan-made level (in this game referred to as an "age") had created a temple that was supposed to create feelings of spirituality and wonder for the player (images of the temple in development). I wrote this piece as ambient music for the temple. Kind of a shortie, but hopefully conveys the feeling that I was trying for. - mp3 of stylized MIDI - MIDI file - AtionSong
