  1. One word. It is epic. And therefore it rules. Get the necessary elements and it will be one hell of a rock piece.
  2. This is hot stuff! Wow, I love it a lot. Very dancy, and blends elements of several music styles... Hell its professional grade production on this. *bows to your superior production skills* By the way, that beat is HOT.
  3. I dunno, I use Sonar for scoring, but only limitedly. I suppose if I really wanted to properly score something I should get Sibelius.. I wholeheartedly recommend Sonar for a sequencer, I have been using it for a long time, and I have only a few quibbles with it. Also, never forget to add reverb, especially to concert hall pieces. That is my tip.
  4. I don't think its possible to make a score from NES format music. >_< I mean, since you have the figured bass, you could do some ear training. XD No just kidding. Not everyone has the ability to make a score, but still make music with a fair amount of theory and fidelity.
  5. Wow... great playing, great songs in general. There are a couple times when I think the standard vocals could use some work, but generally great job. Tones on all instruments are great. Also, it seems your drummer uses a similar drumming style through a majority of your choruses. Good work though.
  6. Low growl is tough to do. And replicating my original tone on the original recording was... proving itself quite difficult. I gave it my best shot... honest.
  7. Synth1 is good. So is Triangle I aaand... that's it I think. For me,
  8. Thank you Monsieur le Sax.
  9. Bends scoops and falls I chose to omit because well... they are out of place in this setting in my mind. I can't believe I forgot to include Altissimo, but then again, I liked the way the composition came out and flair without reasoning never appealed to me. (And my altissimo is rather sporadic) I have been playing for... 6-7 years now... I dunno. I play a Selmer Series II Super Action. Nice stuff. Also, I was new to multi-tones. HAHA, I can usually do them much better now.
  10. Sonata, by Lawson Lunde. Great piece.
  11. If this seems improvised then I've done my job, however it must be noted that I lost the score... The score was previously on my last flash drive, it has since been... destroyed. :( I hope you enjoy listening to it, I tried to make use of as many saxophone techniques as I could, including multi-phonics and microtones. Enjoy! http://cyril.arnoldascher.com/acoustic/impression.mp3
  12. sweet.
  13. Thanks! Oh yeah, the link now works... <_<
  14. Well... if you listen you will hear that your voice is copied and made into back up vocals. And yes, I can make the voice sound more digital... maybe, I may have to experiment. haha Generally its made with a TalkBox through a keyboard. But I'll see what I can do with my autotuner. If you could re record your voice that'd be great. you could be stronger a little, and you could try to do it in more than one take so that you don't run out of breath. ;) Thanks and good luck.
  15. Hmm Very emotive. It looks quite challenging with all the time signature changes and things. Also, the parts are very broken up. Its quite enjoyable, though I think the sopranos might have a hard time holding that D on measure 33 for as long as you have written. Also, the ending of the piece on your MP3 and the PDF don't quite match.
