  1. Thanks Kevin. Glad you enjoyed it. Yeah, most game music have to be loopable. In Hidden Object and/or adventure genre, where music is slower paced and more atmospheric, there is no need to do that, since usually there are some environment sounds and music can fade out and start over again. We often use silence also in between. There is another situation, as it was planned for this game particularly, that game has soundtrack of certain number of tracks and they are randomly played on all levels. In this case music must not be loopable. Thanks for listening :)
  2. Nice piece Fox. Simple and effective. I can see it working nicely in RPG game. :)
  3. Hi Guys, it's being a while since I posted here last time. I have one track that I would like to share with you and, of course, hear what you think of it. It's one of level tracks we're working on for undisclosed HO game. Sorry but I can't share more details about it. I used here EWQL Gold XP and tried to push it to it's (and my :p ) limits. Hope you'll enjoy: LISTEN
  4. Awesome track Marius :) I'm glad you went for LASS eventually. There is big difference in quality. Good job! :)
  5. haha, this is great! Really good variations of windows themes. I enjoyed it a lot! :D
  6. thanks Trev :) We'll my point was that strings are flat, but because I liked it that. It was intentional to keep same chord progression without changes and to keep it simple orchestrated. Thanks for commenting ;)
  7. Thanks guys :) rolifer: It's music for first level, point and click, horror adventure game. Scene is on graveyard where main character, artist, is digging bones for sculptures he makes, but strange things starting to happen... :P beefybeef: Strings are flat, true. Nice point. Lord Sorasen: I didn't want to make real climax since this is level music and it's meant to be looped, but yeah, I love to use contrasts and 'silence'
  8. Hi guys, long time no post here :) I've visited forums regulary but never posted  Now I have something that could be interesting for some of you. Title is Graveyard Digger and it's one of tracks for horror adventure game Striigatorium. Enjoy: Graveyard Digger All comments are more than welcome :)
  9. Thumbs up for Jaap. Welcome to the forums, it's good to see you here. Although I've heard this piece before I wanted to express my admiration to instrument use in this piece. Especially for that distorted guitar and brass And, by the way, did you noticed that this forum is called 'Young' composers? ;-) Cheers,
  10. Hi Rod, I'm so sorry for taking your time so long. Due to my busy schedule I wont be able to continue with lessons. Thank you for your time and I'm truly regret for this. Thanks and sorry again. :(
  11. Thanks guys. I appreciate it. :-)
  12. Hi Nigel, long time no hearing from you. I can see you've being busy and that's good I just wanted to give overall review of your music for this game. I really thing that it's good I like fact that it's not too catchy and it's written very modern. That's thing, I think, we should all stream too. Not just to give to audience/developers what they expecting to hear but to move frontiers. Good work Nigel and keep it good work.
  13. Morivou, on which Saturday the results will be in?
