  1. My only thought is that as primes occur at a somewhat close-to-predictable pattern (near a logarithmic function i cant remember right now, when plotted as a graph) the music would sound too predictable. I think using functions without a "fractal" component most of them creates boring stuff. Not being an expert the idea in the original post is worth at try. Check some sites on fractal music if you find computer (or algorithmic) generated music as a topic interesting. I did want to write such a program once, but my knowledge is not really updated recently ;)
  2. I agree with all the other posts. What you need is impressions, maybe the storyline of the game or a picture from the game or in general maybe just some new ideas (of any kind) that inspires. If you don't know anything about what to "depict" with you music, it might not work at all in the end. This works for me at least. Good luck.
  3. Haha, they will absolutely play this one on the olympics. Thanks for listening,
  4. Wrote this when i lived in Beijing, China, the apartment had a lot of insects. ;) Feel free to give comments, on what I can do better, or what i can skip completely http://www.dragoncolour.com/Rosqvist_-_Chinese_small_insects.mp3 The title would maybe sound better as Small Chinese Insects, but who cares :)
  5. I find this it an interesting piece, a wellexecuted, mild and calm 11 minutes. Very enjoyable. The velocity is a little low all over, and it does not add to the dynamics. Haha, well it explodes on occassion, yes i noticed now.... But those glimpses would sound better with better levels in the mix. Anyway, nice themes and composition. NOw the ending: Its sublime, man! Like it very much.
  6. I liked you "style". Its relaxing, has a sense of motion - as you say - but it do not get me bored.
  7. ANyway, i liked the composition. Short, but had an effect on me... I liked it, though it is not an easy piece to play.
  8. Feel free to try again.
  9. YEah, this is my second post here, this one and the one where i presented myself. But time is late where i am so have not much time for much else. I need some thoughts about this easy-to-the-ear piece. Please point out any bad or good things.. ANy critizism will be appreciated. http://www.dragoncolour.com/Rosqvist_-_End_of_the_Journey(5).mp3
