  1. Yeah, realistic playback is difficult to do. And the web actually isn't advanced enough where super high quality sampling and simutlation would be possible, on top of all the crazy amount bandwidth needed (high quality samples can be GB's upond GB's of data) It's certainly not a problem I plan on tackling any time soon. Many aspects of in-browser audio are still far too young to really tell what will really happen.
  2. That's a good interfacing issue. Particularly for people with tablets! And honestly couldn't be that difficult to implement in a good way. The main problem (that I've observed) with notation on touch screens is that it's a pretty precise act, and your finger is not so precise. So usage on a tablet would likely be optimized for a stylus or something. But honestly, determining what someone is drawing, since notation consists of mostly simple shapes wouldn't be (theoretically) that difficult particularly with today's tablet technology.
  3. I'm currently building an in-browser notation and tablature editor and I'm starting to build basic user interfacing. Personally, I've never really found that any software "workflow" really felt that smooth. Always a little clunky. Guitar Pro does a pretty good job for tablature, but offers minimal notational support. So, biggest gripes about your current editor ...go!
  4. This piece is very mystical and relaxing. You did a great job. :)
  5. That seems interesting. But I'm quite busy with my band at the moment, so I doubt I'd have any time to do so. But if I do get the time I'll PM you. :)
  6. :) Thanks for the advice.
  7. I wrote this song probably around a year ago. Just wanted to share something I've written since I'm new to this board. :) So here's just the midi version. It has a very original title. Tell me what you guys think. folk.mid
