Hello young composers, Bitterduck's Revenge-Sharon Isbin Cool thanks I will look into her when I get the chance. Nice observation Bitterduck's Revenge why do you think this is? Carulli_Guitar-I can understand the emotion you want from music.Mabe there was no emotion though I cannot comment. 1- I do not know the music that well and 2- I have not heard it performed by different people. It was played fast,to me this piece sounded great.I will have to check out Andres Segovia thanks Carulli_Guitar. Daniel Alley- Haha In answer I have not heard any women or men play paganini works Paganini is more or less unknown to me apart from the name I know not of his works Though I really liked this piece I am tempted to get some paganini. And I have not heard many women play music thanks Daniel Alley. Where is a good place to begin with paganini if I was to get one of his works?.

I started composing around 17, I have been into the orchestra sound of music for 3 of those years.

Alex pope,a Shostakovich shirt that would be very ;) I would wear one. I can understand the fascination david. The pieces that I have listened to are intense and moving with wavering intertwining melodies. It is to me encapsulating beyond an horizon and does not let one go. Music from Shostakovich where would this centenery year concert be held? Or have misunderstood what was said.

Shostakovich, Though there are many other composers that I still need to hear very much more closely. At this time Dimitri is the most favorable to me.

I also too believed those brown little squares. That everyone has,to be connected with how many posts one has created. I realize I now know nothing.

Now THIS will CERTAINLY get us composers RILED UP

I cannot say for i truly do not remember the composers name. The name you mention daniel "Daniel Barenboim"does not ring a bell in my mind though. I do remember this within the program he asked the audience at one of his concerts if they would like the orchestra to preform some wagner. And there was a small uproar and apparently 10% of the audience left the halls in anger and disbelief. Saying that he has disgraced his country it was some powerful accusations made against him at that concert though he took what was said full on board they in end(orchestra)still played wagner. Something to do with Hitler took to that music, something of that kind not sure. -

This will be my last post on this matter. I saw a program not so long ago about a well known composer. Though I do not remember the name (it is irrelevant here for now) It tells of how this composer traveled back to his home land after many years. His goal at that time was to help the music community. By trying to arrange an orchestra to play some well know piece's. Though there was one predicament that I recall. Of how theses two cello players one of the players was from Israel and the other was from Palestine. (These country's are at war both having conflicts not been able to resolve their differences in Politics & religion). On the first day the two cello players could not play in harmony together. For there was much tension between them for the same reason's of differences above. I think during the second day,as they came to a segment within the piece that called for both of them to play in unison. At the same pitch,at the same time,at the same volume. A resolve must have hit them, for at that moment it did not matter what race or creed. What religion of belief, what distance of cultures to what distance of views they both did have from each other. At the end it did not matter,as it became apparent they both had to listen to each other. To hear each others sound each others voice,to achieve to play as one. For you see both of their goals were the same. Enough now the wizard must disappear untill next time if ever needed. -
Shinobi the wrath of the last ninja(remix rock/jazz)

Thanks for the view Ck the fat, I thought no would listen to this as it might not be what people like. The guitar's are real I did not use an amp though I used my Boss pedal with an amp simulation. There are rhythm guitars with one type of tone/sound panned nearly full L & R. There are melodic guitars some times with harmony's,with another type of tone/sound. And then there is a final lead on top, that is another type of tone/sound. I think I should of posted the original from the start so people can examing both. As an attachment I have placed the original here. Thanks again Ck the fat. Shinobi_SSII_.mid -
I can play ok the guitar in turn the bass slighty,I love the drums:snare, bass drum,hi-hats,ride a kit basically and abit on the piano. I would love to learn trumpet and cello one day.

Yes paganini lover from what i have read in books and seen pictures of,the harp has many pedals indeed. There could be harps with no pedals for i do not know if there are different versions off the harp.

Montpellier quotes: "Most perplexing - how can any sound, however organised (or not) be inherently good or evil? It HAS to be in the ear of the beholder". That should be reinitialized into the conundrums of errors. -
I am not to sure but to be a master at any instrument is not an easy path. I would say the harp with all those pedals must make it difficult would one not say.

Shinobi the wrath of the last ninja(remix rock/jazz)
mithius posted a topic in Jazz, Band, Pop, Rock
Hello Young composers. It is Mithius. This is another attempt at a remix My reason for this remix: My reason for this remix is simple,as soon as I heard this theme I instanly took to it. I like the melody I wanted to blend real guitars into the theme. It has that kind of rock/jazz tone about so I thought I would like to give it a try. My music notes: As i started my attempt my view was i will complete this fairly quickly. Though no sooner than I started i realized some of the parts hit me as beening very difficult. Some parts proved so difficult that i wanted to preformed one of shinobi's special self destruct attacks on my self and my computer. I am fortunate I never entered that distinctive torturous outcome. The guitars are guitars with my boss pedal. Some Fx's at the end the bass and drums are midi. My playing is ok but it could always be better some places more than others. I hope the good out ways the bad. My tone in the past needed alot of work i still am trying to refine it. I am not sure if there is a slight improvement or if it is even noticable. To sum up the structure 1 half is the theme the other is an original segment Any suggestions,Comments or views are welcome My Title : Shinobi the wrath of the last ninja Composer : ? Game : Shinobi 3 the return of the ninja master Platform : Megadrive/genisis Song lenght: 2.35s Size : 3.9 MB Can be found here: http://www.badongo.com/file/868443 You might have to wait 30 or so seconds to begin an upload Good day to you all. -
Hello, Inspiration i think works differently for each individual. Someone pointed out life inspires them. One could also have emotional stress within and that is what gives them inspiration. I once read that beethoven was going deaf,if i was going deaf i would sure tell people(Though not speak of it to people) about it through some kind of art form. I think he did, mabe it is not so much a inspiration but a situation like that, Would dictate for me that someone who creates would wish to tell you how they feel this situation has fallen here. I my self got inspired when i went and heard the orchestra play the music of Shostakovich symphony No 8 last summer. That was one one greatest things i have ever heard. And put belief in me that humans with all the bad can be amazing creatures. Mabe you need to listen to something that is beyond your existance to be inspired.
