  1. My concept of rock? Hmmm I don't know I like a lot of different things in rock. I couldn't sum up. But you are right this song is progressive. I should have kept the first part, made a chorus and add a vox line, then it would have been more pop. My ex-girlfriend won't like it but it doesn't matter ahah :) thanks again, I'm glad you liked some parts of it
  2. "It's very clear you enjoy progressive rock" oh no !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay I'm definitly not able to compose pop music :( lol thanks to you both for your coments :)
  3. Hey I uploaded recently on my space a new composition way different from what I'm used to compose! An ex girlfriend once reproached me for not composing more rock scores... I decided to make one What do you think about it ? Do you enjoy it ? I think adding orchestral instruments was a good idea. listen here : MySpace.com - JB - Paris, FR - Progressive / Classical / Grunge - www.myspace.com/dirtyjeanss "sans titre 2" thanks JB
  4. Hi Nhomas and thanks for answearing your analysis is correct however my goal was absolutelly not to create authentic ethnic music (I wouldn't see the point of this). Maybe I should have been more precise in my previous message but I thought it was obvious enough judging from the structure and the instruments I used. Anyway I'm glad you liked :) Another track will be uploaded on my page soon in a very different style JB
  5. Hello ! I'd like to have some comments on a composition I finnished recently. For information I've been using "east west ra" for all the ethnic part and also "stormdrum" for the percussions...the piano is a Steinway B Concerning the mix, there's no spatialisation and it may suffer from a very bad EQ but I don't have any monitoring system yet to fix this, so it will be done later JB you can listen to it here : MySpace.com - JB - Paris, FR - Progressive / Classical / Grunge - www.myspace.com/dirtyjeanss music number 3 "sans titre"
